Wyoming Face of Travel Contest Rules

Video submissions

Why are you the Face of Travel for Wyoming?

Video Submission Guidelines:
Length: 90 seconds maximum
Format: MPEG4, QuickTime, WMV
How/Where to submit:

Only one (1) video submission allowed per person.

Criteria for Judging
The “Face of Travel” should demonstrate:
     ●   Passion and enthusiasm for the travel industry;
     ●   Ability to communicate clearly about the Wyoming tourism product;
     ●   A relatable and charismatic personality;
     ●   Creativity in their video submissions.

Prize (sponsored by Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition)
Prize is $500 cash (sponsored by WTIC) for the person with the winning video submission and two free Wyoming Governor’s Hospitality and Tourism Conference registrations ($640 Value) for the company for which the winner works.

Official Contest Rules
1. Deadline:
All submissions are due on or before December 15. None will be accepted after this date.

2. Announcements: Winners will be announced and contacted on or about January 5, 2010. Judge’s decisions are final.

3. Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for the Wyoming Face of Travel Contest.

4. Eligibility: To be eligible, you must upload your video to
YouSendIt

5. Releases and Copyrighted Material: If your video entry contains any copyrighted material (music for example) the submitter will be responsible for securing the licensing rights. (To avoid the expense and difficulty of securing such rights we recommend using only original, non-copyrighted material or material licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike license).

6. Prizes: The winner shall receive a $500 cash prize from the Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition. The business for which the winner works shall receive two (2) free registrations to the Wyoming Governor’s Hospitality and Tourism Conference.

7. Video Content:
Individuals submitting videos must be employed by a Wyoming company serving the tourism industry in Wyoming. Only one video submission per person is allowed.

8. Video Length: Submissions must not exceed 90 seconds running time.

10. Video Format: Entries must be in digital format, as the submission process takes place online. Preferable file formats include MPEG4, Quick Time or WMV. Preferable dimensions are 640 pixels per inch by 480 pixels per inch (640x480) or larger.

11. Ownership/Permissions for Wyoming Travel and Tourism Use: All videos submitted become the exclusive property of Wyoming Travel and Tourism. Wyoming Travel and Tourism reserves the right to use contest entries for promotional purposes.
